Our takeVidMuse solves a real headache for musicians: getting from a finished track to a watchable video without juggling five AI tools.
The storyboard-first workflow and shot-level edits give you more control than one-prompt generators. Budget carefully, though. Credits drain at different rates per model, the free tier is a single short test, and refunds end once you spend a credit. Try one song on Pro monthly before committing to a year.
Why we rate itA purpose-built song-to-video workflow with storyboarding, shot edits and many top models in one place.
The catchVariable credit costs, a one-time free allowance and a refund window that closes once credits are used.

Best / not good for

Best for
  • Independent musicians and songwriters

  • Users who need predictable fixed costs
Trade-offs

Friction report

Trade-offs to know before signing up.

  1. Time to value
Under an hour for a first short clip: upload a song, answer the brief, review the storyboard and generate.
  2. Scale breakpoint
Pro's 4,000 credits cover two or three one-minute videos a month, so regular releases push you to Ultra or add-ons.
  3. Walled garden
Low: exports are yours to use on paid plans; projects and credits stay inside VidMuse.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is VidMuse AI?

An AI music video generator and creative agent run by SandAI. You upload a song or Suno link; it plans scenes and a storyboard, generates the clips with third-party video models and lets you edit the final cut. It also has a mode for product and UGC-style ads.

How much does VidMuse AI cost?

Free gives 100 one-time credits. Pro costs $39 a month or $33 a month billed yearly (4,000 credits a month), Ultra $99 or $83 (12,000 credits) and Studio $159 or $133 (20,000 credits). Add-on credit packs start at $30 for 2,400 credits and need an active subscription (checked 4 October 2026).

Is VidMuse free?

Only to try. The free plan gives 100 one-time credits, which VidMuse says is enough for a 30-second trial video, exported at 720p with a watermark and for non-commercial use. Paid plans add 1080p, watermark removal and commercial use.

Can I use VidMuse videos commercially?

On paid plans, yes: VidMuse's FAQ says paid-plan content includes commercial usage rights and that it does not claim ownership of your outputs. Free-plan content is for personal use. You still need permission for the music and images you upload, and VidMuse's Commercial Use Authorization Agreement sets the full terms.

Does VidMuse work with Suno?

Yes. You can paste a Suno link, upload an MP3 or WAV export, or create a track with the built-in Suno integration before planning the video.

Is the VidMuse app on the App Store official?

Be careful. The App Store listing that ranks for 'vidmuse' (app ID 6760256428) names Md Ruhin Hossain Gazi as the developer and now carries the BeatMuse name, while VidMuse's own terms name SandAI Pte. Limited as the operator. We could not confirm an official VidMuse iPhone app; the web app is at vidmuse.ai.
