The DB lists entry pricing at $25/mo, but the actual Starter plan now begins at $9/mo (5,000 emails/month), making it significantly cheaper than catalogued. The free tier is capped at 500 contacts and 300 emails/day. Volume-based pricing — charged on emails sent, not contacts stored — is its core competitive edge over Mailchimp-style tools.

Why we rate it

Brevo consistently undercuts rival ESPs on per-email cost for large lists, and bundles SMS and WhatsApp channels that competitors charge separately for. Automation and transactional email (SMTP) on a single account is a strong combo for lean teams.
