What it really isUnstuck AI — AI-powered study assistant for students (unstuckstudy.com).
Our takeUnstuck AI (unstuckstudy.com, by Quizard AI Inc.) is an edtech platform trusted by 2M+ students that turns lectures, PDFs, videos, and notes into an interactive chat-driven learning experience with flashcards, quizzes, and real-time transcription.
The Unlimited plan is $19.99/mo. The freemium label is correct: a meaningful free tier exists alongside the paid unlimited plan.
Why we rate itTrusted by 2M+ students at top universities; covers the full study loop from raw lecture audio to quiz-ready flashcards in one platform, which most note-taking apps leave fragmented.
The catchThe free tier has hard limits on recordings and uploads that surface quickly for heavy course loads; the paid plan is the real product.
Also strictly student/learner focused, not a general productivity or coaching tool.
Best / not good for
Best for
- College students managing multiple courses with heavy reading and lecture loads
- Students who learn best through active recall (quizzes, flashcards) over passive review
- Learners who want to chat with lecture transcripts or PDFs for instant, cited answers
Not good for
- Professionals or entrepreneurs seeking productivity coaching or mindfulness tools
- Teams needing collaborative note-taking or project management features
- Users who need offline access — platform is web/app and cloud-dependent
Trade-offs
Friction report
Trade-offs to know before signing up.
- Time to valueFast: sign up free, upload a PDF or record a lecture, and start chatting with your material within minutes.
- Scale breakpointPer-plan pricing means no per-seat scaling for group use; teams or study groups each need individual subscriptions.
- Walled gardenModerate: content lives in the Unstuck platform; no bulk export of AI-generated flashcards to Anki or other spaced-repetition tools noted.
