It offers a perpetual-free individual gradebook for teachers plus a paid School Management System (SMS) that adds parent portals, report cards, and administration tools. Entry pricing is $17/mo (1–15 students) with a 30-day free trial; there is also a permanently free standalone gradebook for individual teachers.
Why we rate itThinkWave's enrollment-scaled pricing is unusually honest — schools pay in proportion to size, so a 30-student operation isn't subsidising enterprise features it doesn't need.
The free individual gradebook also lowers the barrier to entry and lets solo teachers evaluate the product without any commitment.
