What it really is

SocialBee — social media scheduling platform built around content categories and evergreen post recycling.

Our take

SocialBee is a well-established social media management tool whose core differentiator is its category-based content queue: posts are organised into evergreen, one-time, or seasonal buckets and automatically recycled on a schedule, reducing daily manual effort significantly. DB pricing of $29/mo is accurate for the entry Bootstrap plan (monthly billing). Note: the DB pros/cons field contains copy about a WordPress performance plugin — this is a catalogue mislabel and does not reflect SocialBee's actual feature set.

Why we rate it

AI content generation and Canva integration are included on all plans — not gated behind higher tiers. The evergreen recycling engine is genuinely differentiated and saves hours per week once a content library is built. Supports 10+ networks including TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile.

The catch

No social listening, no unified inbox for DMs/comments, and analytics are lighter than Sprout Social or Hootsuite. Per-profile caps mean agency costs escalate quickly beyond 25 profiles. Not a community management tool.

Best for
SMBs and solo creators building evergreen content libraries
Agencies managing 5–50 client social profiles
Social media managers who want set-and-forget scheduling
Not good for
Teams needing social listening or brand monitoring
Brands that rely heavily on DM/comment inbox management
Enterprise workflows requiring SSO or deep CRM integration
Friction report
Time to value
Fast: no credit card needed for trial; content categories and first scheduled posts can be live within the hour.
Scale breakpoint
Profile limits escalate pricing steeply — Pro50 agency plan at $179/mo jumps sharply from the $99/mo Pro plan.
Walled garden
Low: content can be exported and is not tightly locked to the platform; switching costs are mainly the time to rebuild category queues elsewhere.
