What it really isLogoFast — free icon-based logo builder for founders who need a logo in minutes.
Our takeLogoFast is a lightweight, browser-based logo maker by indie developer Marc Lou (creator of ShipFast).
It is fully free with no paid tiers; the official site tagline is literally 'Make Beautiful Logos Fast and Free.' It is not a generative AI tool; it lets you pick an icon from the Lucide library, customize colors, borders, size, and rotation, then download a PNG instantly with no account required.
Why we rate itRadically simple scope executed perfectly — it removes every friction point between 'I need a logo now' and a finished file.
The no-signup flow is rare even among free tools.
The catchStrictly icon-only (Lucide library); no text, no typography, no wordmarks, and no SVG export on the free tier.
Brands needing a full visual identity will outgrow it immediately.

Trade-offs

Friction report

Trade-offs to know before signing up.

  1. Time to value
Fast: no sign-up, first downloadable logo in under 60 seconds.
  2. Scale breakpoint
Hits a hard ceiling immediately for any brand needing text, multiple assets, or custom illustrations.
  3. Walled garden
Low: PNG output is yours; no platform lock-in, though the design lives only in your browser session.
