What it really is

An open-source autonomous coding agent that resolves real GitHub issues - bug fixes and feature additions - by combining LLMs with code search and AST-based program analysis.

Our take

It was a pioneering SWE-bench agent: rather than treating code as flat files, it reasons over the abstract syntax tree and uses fault localization to find and patch the right code cheaply (~$0.40 and minutes per issue). It is research-grade and LLM-agnostic, and notably the tech was acquired by Sonar and is being productized as the SonarQube Remediation Agent.
