Air AI sold AI phone agents that it said could replace human customer service reps. In August 2025 the US Federal Trade Commission sued the company and its owners over deceptive earnings and refund claims, and in March 2026 the FTC announced a settlement that bans them from marketing business opportunities. As of 2 October 2026 there is no Air AI product to buy: air.ai now shows a different product.

The FTC's August 2025 complaint alleged that Air AI made false claims about earnings and refund guarantees, and that some buyers lost as much as $250,000. On 24 March 2026 the FTC announced a settlement: an $18 million judgment, largely suspended because the defendants couldn't pay, $50,000 for consumer relief, and a ban on selling or marketing business opportunities.

air.ai was a parked domain in June 2026 (Internet Archive) and now shows "Air | Enterprise Readiness", an unrelated defense and enterprise platform. We found no Air AI voice-agent product and have removed our link, which pointed to a third-party directory.
